Increase the engagement of underserved, underrepresented patient populations in the execution of their health care plan and management by bridging the health knowledge gap to empower decision-making. Caring 4 Us is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt charitable organization that is subject to federal, state, and local laws and regulations.

Improve health outcomes (mortality rates, patient satisfaction, healthcare spending, morbidity, etc.) of patients from traditionally underserved communities by encouraging and promoting informed interaction with the healthcare system.

He went on the further his expertise in hospice and palliative care at George Washington University. Dr. Price is an active member of the University of Maryland school of medicine as an associate professor and involved in patient care with the Palliative Medicine team. He is interested in improving communication between health care providers and patients with advanced and complex diseases and increasing access for all patients with advance diseases to palliative care services.

is a teacher and educator before anything else. Had she not gone to medical school, she would be a science or math professor at one of the many renowned HBCUs. She attending Hampton University completing her B.S. in biology. Next, UNC Chapel Hill school of medicine is where she earned her M.D. credentials as well as residency in anesthesiology at the schools medical center. The lack of awareness of patients and their power always concerned her, so she started this, Caring 4 Us Corp. A health literacy and patient self-advocacy platform that aims to help patients and families confidently engage in their care by providing and demonstrating useful information and tools. These tools are helpful in pursuing the best health outcomes possible and an improved experience for patients. Healthcare is complex and scary. This organization hopes to alleviate some of this fear with information.

She is committed to spending time with her patients and learning about their backgrounds and lifestyles. Upon graduation from Howard University College of Medicine, she received a Masters in Public Health from Johns Hopkins University. She completed her residency in Internal Medicine at The University of Florida Shands Jacksonville Health Center.
